For speed on both the track, road, and trails. It has a stable ride with it's universal stability design, so it's great for both under, neutral, and over pronators. I've run up to 20 miles in training with this shoe, and competed in 5K's. All it lacks to be a few ounces lighter I prefer to marathons. As with all Newtons a break-in period for 2-3 weeks to adapt to mid-foot strike on the lugs. If calf or soleus is sore stop and either heel strike on the carbon cushioned heel or use a regular running shoe. | |
