I have been running and living in my Vibram KSO's for the last 4 months, and only had issues with sharp rocky trails. With the Vibram Bikila different density pads have been added and that has made a significant improvement, and the lining around the foot is quite comfortable. I love this new Bikila platform – especially for longer runs. It offers a little more protection to the metatarsal heads, without compromising that barefoot sensation; the fit is secure and comfortable, and the shoe just feels FAST. As with all ball of the foot running shoes, a break-in period for 2-3 weeks to adapt to mid-foot strike on the ball of the foot pad. If calf or soleus is sore stop and either heel strike on the cushioned heel or use a regular running shoe. | |
